Developing your communication skills
The Talk for Work Profile is an easy to use tool which can be used by secondary school staff to profile communication skills in young people; specifically those skills needed for the workplace.
Communication is the fundamental life skill, crucial for learning, relationships, behaviour and for success at work. In every workplace, oral communication from managers and supervisors to employees, and vice versa, is a daily occurrence and vital to successful productivity and outcomes. However, year on year employer surveys raise concerns about the shortage of communication skills in the workforce and the impact this has on the economy.
Talk for Work will support young people and prepare them with the necessary skills to be successful in the workplace.
